- A referendum in the UK: the people of Gibraltar want to remain in the EU
As reported by the local election Commission, after final processing of all ballots, the vote was won in favour of retaining the UK’s membership in the European Union.
The voters of Gibraltar, Newcastle and the Orkney Islands voted against the UK out of the EU. They scored 57.3% of votes, while, as skeptics have received only 42.7 percent”, – stated in the message.
