Tymoshenko has filed a lawsuit against Groisman and the Ukrainian government

Former Prime Minister of Ukraine, the party leader “Batkivshchyna” Yulia Tymoshenko on Thursday announced that it has filed a lawsuit against the National Commission for regulation in energy and utilities (NKREKU), as well as the Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Groisman and his government from-for growth of tariffs for the population.

As the channel “112 Ukraine”, Tymoshenko in a lawsuit against the national Commission explains why believes the new tariffs for centralized heating and water supply are unfounded. In its opinion, the Commission did not have the right to raise tariffs, since they are set by local authorities.

In court Tymoshenko intends to deal with an almost doubling of gas prices. She accuses Groisman and his government in violation of Ukrainian laws — according to her, the Cabinet has no right to set gas prices.
