The Bank will ask to 260 billion rubles from the budget for repayment of debts

The Minister of economic development Alexei Ulyukayev said that the VEB can request from the state 260 billion rubles from the budget for repayment of external debt in 2017.

Ulyukayev said that the Bank has a debt repayment schedule and because of the sanctions regime, he is unable to refinance these debts, resulting in a financial gap.

“This year it is 150 billion, and another 260 billion. We are talking about the financial gap through the provision of budgetary funds”, — said Ulyukayev.

Earlier, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said that the government decided to capitalize the Bank in 2016 to 150 billion rubles.
