Poroshenko and Nuland held talks on the implementation of the Minsk agreements


The U.S. Embassy in Ukraine reported that assistant Secretary of state Victoria Nuland met in Kyiv with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko. During the meeting they discussed the settlement of the conflict in the Donbas and conduct of the Kyiv reforms.

According to TASS, the meeting was held on the eve of June 22. It was also attended by heads of departments of the Council U.S. national security Charles Kupchan and Celeste Volander, and the Ukrainian side, the speaker Parubiy, the head of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin.

USA noted that the talks were “detailed and constructive and largely focused on the security requirements of the Minsk agreements.

And today, June 23, Nuland will meet in Moscow with Russian presidential aide Vladislav Surkov.
