The petition on Wednesday, June 22, was filed by one Eugene Prokopishini. The author of the petition says that after the Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Hope Savchenko “was recruited by the FSB and released in Ukraine”, she began to claim to have “direct negotiations with the militants DNR”, and also about that “”we need to lift sanctions against Russia.”
“What is that, Mr. President? And this man goes by the great title of Hero of Ukraine? While thousands of real Heroes-Soldiers gave their lives for our freedom, for our future, for our Ukraine, and they did not receive this title. If we are here, “heroes,” then shame on You, Mr. Poroshenko!”, – emotionally writes the author of the petition.
At the time of publication of this article the petition was signed only 2 out of the required 25 thousand, so it was considered. The collection of signatures will be 92 days.
Recall that Russia has repeatedly stated the need for direct contacts between Kiev and the leadership of the DNI and LC. However, the issue for the Ukrainian authorities is fundamental. Because they believe militias and their elected representatives to terrorists with whom it is impossible to conduct a direct dialogue, and therefore created the Contact group in Kiev, where Ukraine is represented by former President Leonid Kuchma.
As for sanctions, and Kiev and Western countries insist on the extension of anti-Russian sanctions until, until you complete the Minsk agreement and not resolved the issue with the Crimea.
As previously reported, “MK”, Savchenko, who went at the PACE session, said the Western media that the anti-Russian sanctions should be personalized to meet specific people. She added that she was unpleasantly aware of the fact that sanctions harm ordinary people in Russia, Ukraine and Europe.
In the same interview, the Ukrainian office of Deutsche Welle, she said that they are ready to protect their right to negotiate with the leaders of the DNI and LC. “We have nothing to talk about… It will happen. Because we have nowhere to go. We still are one people, and we still continue to live together. When will this happen? I hope that very soon, because I’m their example shows that you can have an opinion even if it differs from the opinion of Europe, from the opinion of the Ukrainian authorities,” – said Savchenko.
