Russia must not go back to PACE, as, according to Savchenko, the Kremlin does not respect human rights. However, she cited herself as an example, Recalling that he was detained in Russia already being in the status of the delegate Assembly, reports UNN.

“The country that promised and guaranteed security under the Budapest Memorandum after the nuclear disarmament of Ukraine, has stabbed us in the back,” she said.

Also the former Ukrainian army accused Moscow of his abduction and the abduction of the Crimean Tatars.

Among other things, Savchenko said that Ukraine is allegedly to safeguard peace in Europe and pays for it with blood.

Note that after the annexation of Crimea to Russia in 2014, the PACE has deprived the Russian delegation’s voting rights and participation in the governing bodies of the Assembly. In January 2015, Russia suspended its membership in the organization until the full restoration of their powers.

In early June, the head of the Duma Committee on international Affairs Alexei Pushkov said that they do not suffer without the PACE and in no hurry to return to the Assembly.
