The Kremlin called “Russophobic hysteria” reports of Russian fans-“the commandos”


Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov angrily reacted to the publication of the British newspaper The Guardian, which claimed that part of the Russian fans who participated in fights for Euro 2016, are actually employees of special services. British media have speculated that the Kremlin and was the organizer of the riots in Marseilles and Lille. Peskov called these publications “Russophobic hysteria”.

“It does not require any reaction. This is another example of what some reach in their Russophobic hysterics”, – quotes “Interfax” the press Secretary of Russian President Dmitry Peskov, who reacted to the publication in the British press about the Kremlin’s involvement in the riots at Euro 2016.

Earlier MKRU reported about the article in the Guardian, which stated that British government sources suggest that the Kremlin sanctioned the riots the Russian fans in Marseille and Lille. The article also claims that a number of Russian fans were identified as representatives of “power structures” Russia”.

The source of the British government also told the publication that it all looks like a continuation of the “hybrid war”.
