Poroshenko suggested the national guard fighters “running fight” in the Donbass

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko on Saturday visited the training center of national guard in the Kiev region, where, addressing the soldiers, said they must undergo a “break in the battle” at the forefront in the Donbass, and learn not to bow to bullets.” For this reason in the near future the President of Ukraine intends to hold a meeting with the commander of the national guard and chief of staff.

Poroshenko in his speech said that the National guard under, the law has other problems, but he requested to hold a meeting with participation of the Minister of defence Stepan Poltorak, chief of the General staff Viktor Muzhenko and the commander of nazvanii Yuri Alleroy on the subject of sending fighters machardie in the Donbass.

Poroshenko explained that he wanted to give the opportunity to the servicemen of the national guard under a “run-in fight, to feel what it means to be “in front” (on the front – ed.) not to “bow to bullets.

“I think that we will find the opportunity, despite the fact that we remain committed to the peaceful development of events”, – said the head Ukrainian state, UNIAN reports.

Recall that the National guard of Ukraine enters into system of the Ministry of interior and replaced in its functions the internal troops. Its task mainly consists of law enforcement functions. While in the national guard joined volunteer battalions, which were formed after the outbreak of hostilities in the South-East of Ukraine and was directly involved. The total number of members of the national guard of Ukraine – about 60 thousand people.
