Pavlensky will read a lecture the people of Kiev “Needs”


On Sunday evening, the St. Petersburg artist-actionist Peter Pavlensky will meet with Kiev in the Center for visual culture. It will be the first “outing” after his release from custody of the petty-Bourgeois court of Moscow on 8 June.

The resonance for the arson of the doors of the FSB on Lubyanka square, Pavlensky, known for his provocative actions and performances, was sentenced to a fine of 500 thousand rubles and compensation of damages in the amount of 481 thousand rubles.

Yesterday Peter Pavlensky met with the Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Hope Savchenko, journalist Mary’s Varfolomeeva (who spent more than a year in captivity on the territory LNR), released last week by Crimea Gennady Afanasiev, as well as several relatives of the Ukrainians, the Russian Justice system sentenced to long terms of imprisonment.
