The speaker bluntly rejected the friendly offer, Sarkozy, Putin pasturage

The Minister of economic development of Russia Alexei Ulyukayev firmly rejected the proposal of former President of France Nicolas Sarkozy that Russia took a first step to defuse international tensions and canceled their so-called “counter-sanctions”, manifested in the ban on the import of food in Russia.

Recall that Sarkozy, who called himself a “true friend of Russia”, considered that “the strongest should reach out first, and strongest — Russia, that President Putin”. In this case, he promised the implementation of the Minsk agreements, the result of which should be the cancellation of sanctions of the West against Russia.

However, Ulyukayev in an interview to “Interfax” has not agreed to the proposal of Sarkozy. He said that “as an initiative of the entrance (sanctions — ed.) was on the side of our partners and the initiative is to be on their side”.

Recall that the decision of the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev “anti-sanctions” should be extended until the end of 2017: he explained it with the desire to give Russian producers the planning horizon of the business.

Ulyukayev added that the list of sanctioned goods remain almost unchanged.

Against the background of these words of another speaker Pmafa, Alexei Kudrin, stated the urgent need for systemic reforms in the country and soon, in 2-3 years, the exhaustion of the reserve Fund. Kudrin also noted that Russia, which is closed for borrowing in the West, cannot attract investment, because due to high inflation, is losing the competition for the US and China.
