The European Union has extended for a year sanctions against the Crimea

The EU Council on Friday, June 17, extended for 12 months the sanctions against the Russian Crimea. As noted in a statement released by the Council of restrictive measures against the Crimea and Sevastopol shall be extended until 23 June 2017.
