Kudrin considers it a shame for the country of the twofold devaluation of the ruble


Former Russian Finance Minister Alexei Kudrin, who now heads the Board of the Center for strategic research, believes a disgrace for Russia and the economic bloc of the government, in particular more than twice the collapse of the ruble. With this statement he made on Friday at the SPIEF.

According to Kudrin, such a large devaluation of the ruble shows that the authorities are not able to provide a stable environment for business. To avoid a new collapse of the currency, Kudrin advised not to increase the dependence on consumption of oil revenues on the domestic market. He is confident that oil prices in the near future will not rise above $40-50 per barrel.
