The American channel has caused outrage Internet users, showing a map of Ukraine without Crimea

The American sports channel ESPN in the Intro to football transfer showed a map of Ukraine, where the Crimean Peninsula was not included in the composition of the country. Some users of social networks immediately caught the channel guide to be sympathetic to the Russian President.

The TV station showed picture as a screensaver for football transfer FC, in which he analyzed the match between Ukraine and Germany at Euro 2016, reports the Ukrainian edition of “Vesti”. Recall, the game ended with the score 2:0 in favor of the trust of Joachim Loew.

On the map, which aired on ESPN, the territory of Ukraine has been painted in the colors of the national flag. Neighboring countries, including Russia together with the Crimea was marked in black.

Some users of social networks protested for such decision of the us channel. “The United States and the rest of the civilized world does not recognize the annexation of Crimea by Russia, but ESPN joined Putin #EURO2016” – writes in Twitter someone Ed Skibicki.

In the Russian segment of the Network suggested that the channel just decided to remind of the territorial jurisdiction of the Peninsula. “Krymnash. On the American channel ESPN broadcasting EURO matches decided just in case to remind, whose Crimea”, – writes user under the name marina.

Crimea and Sevastopol joined the Russian Federation following a referendum held in March 2014. Nevertheless, Ukraine still considers Crimea its but temporarily occupied territory.
