Interpol refused to declare the militia leader Motorola wanted


Interpol has denied the Ukrainian security Service (SBU) the announcement in search of one of the commanders of the armed forces of the Donetsk people’s Republic (DPR) of Arseniy Pavlov, who is more known under the name Motorola.

Interpol returned the documents to the Motorola with the motivation of the political nature of his case, said Deputy Chief of the head investigative Department of SBU Vitaly Beacons. “We do not understand”, – he stressed.

The representative of the SBU added that it frequently refuses to search for the militia, considering their case as political. Beacons expressed the hope that in the future, the interaction of the international community, this practice will be abolished, said the information Center of human rights.

In early June, a public activist Konstantin Dolgov said that Motorola is receiving the wound that the splinter he injured his eye, after which he was taken for treatment in St. Petersburg. Later the militia has denied the rumors about his hospitalization, saying that he had received minor damage.

A native of the Komi Republic joined the militia in 2014, he participated in the battles for Slavyansk, Donetsk airport and debaltseve. Has the title of Hero of the DNI.

Pavlov included in the black list of the EU. In Brussels declared that his actions helped destabilize Ukraine and undermine the country’s territorial integrity.
