Each of reanimated bases will work up to 100 to 500 people, said the first Deputy Chairman of the Committee on defense and security in an interview Lenta.ru. “These bases have in mind when it comes to the bridgehead, which the United States is prepared in connection with the concept of prompt global strike,” – said the Senator.

Klintsevich noted that the strengthening of NATO in the region conducted on direct orders from Washington. According to him, the concept of the Alliance provides for attacks on thousands of sites in Russia, including control centers, communications, factories and means of nuclear attack.

The Senator raised the question of the placement of American missile defense systems in Europe. He noted that the missile defense facilities are dual purpose, because in addition to anti-missile elements on installations in Europe it is fashionable to use missiles Tomohawk.

This Klintsevich has suggested that the formation of the positional areas in Eastern Europe does not mean that the impact in Russia will be dealt tomorrow. The Senator expressed the hope that “there will be no war”.

We will remind, in may of this year in Romania started to work the complex of the us missile defense Aegis Ashore. In 2018, the same object must appear in Poland.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Moscow regards these complexes as part of the nuclear potential of the United States and promised that the Kremlin will take retaliatory measures.
