The President of the European Council Donald Tusk said that relations with Turkey requires the EU as a solidarity and criticism in her direction.

Noting the inadmissibility of violations of the freedom of the press and speech, Tusk stressed the importance of Turkey as a partner of the EU in resolving the immigration crisis and the complexity of the situation in the country with weekly terrorist attacks and unfortified borders with Syria, Iraq and Iran.” “We must provide Turkey and solidarity, and criticism,” — said Tusk.
