Tusk: a possible British exit from the European Union may take 7 years


The process of a possible British exit from the European Union may take about seven years, said in an interview with German newspaper Bild, the President of the European Council Donald Tusk.

According to him, the adoption by the UK of a final decision probably will be delayed for two years.

A referendum on the UK’s membership of the EU will take place on June 23.
