Earlier, Minister of energy of Russia Alexander Novak said that the price of gas for Ukraine in the second quarter of this year is 177 dollars per thousand cubic meters and the price for the third quarter will be determined in June.

“Adjusted for calorific value this means that the price of acts will 182-183 dollar. He thinks it’s even lower than the market price. We do not think so” – said on his page on Facebook Director, business development at Naftogaz Yury Vitrenko.

However, he said that in June the price of a thousand cubic meters of gas in Germany did not exceed $ 173, so the Ukrainian company intends to purchase all the necessary volume in Europe.

In turn, the press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov said that the Kremlin is not going to intervene in the negotiations “Naftogaz” and “Gazprom”, which, according to him, should be commercial and depoliticised nature.

Earlier it became known that the Ukrainian side has addressed to Gazprom with a request to resume gas supplies from the second half of the current until April 2017. “Naftogaz” refused to buy gas in Russia in November last year.
