The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has called on France to maintain anti-Russian sanctions


Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andriy Parubiy appealed to the French government urging them to uphold imposed sanctions against Russia.

“Commercial interests can’t be above the spirit of liberty,” the document says.

Thus, the Ukrainian parliamentarians responded to the resolution of their colleagues from the French Senate, urged the French government to contribute to the easing of sanctions against Russia.
