Rasmussen advised Poroshenko to deal with the case, and not to dream about Crimea

Former NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen, become an Advisor Petro Poroshenko, Ukrainian President advised to leave thoughts on the return of the Crimea. Joining the Peninsula to Russia, as it turned out, not so concerned about American politicians.

Rasmussen said that the issue of Crimea at the present time should not be priority for Kiev. According to him, now we need to focus on other issues: the implementation of reforms and the fulfillment of the Minsk agreements, reports RIA Novosti.

At the same time, the former NATO Secretary General said that the West will never recognize the Crimea a part of Russia and added that NATO allies in the long term should provide Kiev support in the return of the Peninsula.

As reported earlier, MK, in American political circles actually came to terms with the loss of the Crimea. American parliamentarians admitted that now this issue is hardly discussed in the Senate, and the idea of the return of the Peninsula left behind.

Now US politicians are more concerned about the movement of Moscow in the field of missiles and medium-range, possible Kremlin aggression against the Baltic States and fighting in the Donbas.
