Poroshenko instructed the government to allocate 3 billion hryvnia for the restoration of Donbass


The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has approved amendments to the Budget code, which will direct funds for the restoration of Donetsk and Lugansk regions. On Thursday reported on the website of the Ukrainian leader.

During a teleconference with the heads of Donetsk and Lugansk regions of Ukraine Poroshenko said that Kiev had made “every effort to find the more than 3 billion hryvnia ($120 million). One billion hryvnia is intended for the reconstruction of objects of social sphere — in particular, repair of schools, clinics and kindergartens. Also the allocated amount will be renovated 113 water supply and sanitation, are in working condition 60 km of roads.

Poroshenko promised that the efficacy of investing “every penny” will be monitored by the authorities.
