Minister of culture Yevhen Nyshchuk instructed to restore the memorial sign “menorah”, set in national historical-memorial preserve “Babi Yar” in Kiev. Recall that Babi Yar became world famous as a place of mass executions of Jews,Gypsies, Karaites of Kiev and Soviet prisoners of war by German forces and Ukrainian collaborators in 1941. In total there were killed more than 150 thousand people.
