The corresponding statement Parubiy made during a Parliament session. A fragment of his speech published on YouTube.

The speaker of the Parliament, in particular, accused the Kremlin in the destruction of millions of Ukrainians. “Millions of destroyed our ancestors in those territories, which was inhabited by migrants, Moscow invaders from other parts of the other country,” he said.

Paruby emphasized that especially many Ukrainians were destroyed during the mass starvation in the 30-ies of the last century.

“And today you appeal to the local population, to the people who live there?”, – outraged Parliament speaker, speaking about the disagreement of the people of the East with measures of the so-called de-communization of the country.

Note that one of the most noticeable manifestations of these changes was the renaming of Dnepropetrovsk in the Dnieper. On the eve of the decision on renaming was supported by members of Parliament.
