“There is no one in Sebastopol, which would not realize the role of our President in return of Sevastopol to the homeland”, – said the acting head of the city legislative Assembly Ekaterina Altabaeva.

She noted that it was an extremely courageous act on the part of the head of state, which has benefited the citizens, reports TASS.

Vladimir Vladimirovich has taken on a huge responsibility and continues to carry her”, she added.

Note that now in the list of honourable citizens of Sevastopol are more than 40 people, including Leo Tolstoy, Yuri Gagarin, Gherman Titov and others.

Last year Putin was awarded the title of honorary citizen of the Republic of Crimea for his contribution to the return of the Peninsula to Russia.
