Medvedev toured “killed” the roads of the Volgograd region

Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev before the meeting with the Governor of Volgograd region Andrei Bocharov drove on the roads of the region, to assess their condition.

“Really the state unchanged. In the Volgograd region and the Volgograd – it is in this case heavy territory, a road killed,” he described what he saw Medvedev. According to him, this is due to several decades of under-investment.

In conversation with Bocharov Medvedev asked whether the region prepared jointly with the Ministry of transport proposals for the restoration of roads. In response, the Governor said that the plan is ready and provides for the allocation of 1.2 billion rubles for priority road projects in the region.

“We have set ourselves the task, and soon needs to reach full funding of the road sector,” – said Bocharov, the head of government.
