Putin approved the allocation of excise taxes on petroleum products between regions and the center


Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law on the redistribution of excises on oil products between the centre and the regions.

So, according to the text of the document, the regional budgets will receive 88% of revenues from excise duties on petroleum products, 12% – Federal budget.

The law will come into force from 1 June 2016.

Earlier, all revenues from excise taxes gasoline, diesel fuel, engine oils for diesel and gasoline engines, produced in Russia, was received in the regional budgets.
