In Tajikistan started the referendum on making amendments to the Constitution


A referendum to amend the Constitution began in Tajikistan. The country has opened thousands of 3.24 polling stations, 36 working in 29 countries around the world, three of them in Russia.

Citizens to Express their attitude to the 41 amendment to the basic law, which provide for including the right of the incumbent President Emomali Rahmon to run for the post unlimited number of times. Another amendment reduced the voting age for presidential candidates up to 30 years, allowing the son of the head of state Emomali Rustam, if necessary, to take part in the elections in 2020. Voters will have to answer one question: “do you Accept changes and amendments to the Constitution?”.
