Washington has expressed concern about removal of inviolability from deputies in Turkey

The US is concerned about the Turkish draft law on deprivation of deputies of inviolability. This was stated by U.S. state Department spokesman mark Toner.

According to him, the Ministry assured that the amendment to the Constitution, which will remove the parliamentary immunity of more than 100 members of Parliament will have a negative effect on freedom of expression in Turkey”.
