Pushkov: a guide WADA should resign


The Chairman of Committee of the State Duma on international Affairs Alexei Pushkov believes that the leadership of the world anti-doping Agency (WADA) should leave his post because of the damage to the reputation of Russian athletes. About this politician wrote in his Twitter account.

“Yefimov, and a number of Russian athletes acquitted after a row with Meldonium. This means that WADA is responsible for the scandal and should change the leadership. By all standards, the WADA management should be sacked for the damage to the reputation of our athletes, the violation of their rights and incompetence,” wrote Pushkov.

Earlier it was reported that the international swimming Federation lifted a provisional suspension from competition with the Russian swimmer Yulia Efimova.
