The mayor of Dnipropetrovsk told how much it will cost to rename the city


The mayor of Dnepropetrovsk Boris Filatov said that the renaming of the city in the Dnieper by the decision of the Verkhovna Rada will require about 700-800 thousand UAH, it is almost 30 thousand dollars.

“I, as mayor, and the composition of the Executive Committee must carry out the decision of the Supreme legislative body of the state. And we will execute it” – he said.

However, the mayor is quoted by “Ukrainian truth”, the majority of inhabitants of the regional cities did not associate the former name with the name of the Soviet public figure Grigory Petrovsky.
