The U.S. Senate was allowed to sue Saudi Arabia for September 11


The United States has passed a law that allows the relatives of the victims of the September 11 attacks to sue the government of Saudi Arabia, reports the Associated Press. The bill was approved by the upper chamber of Congress. Earlier Saudi Arabia was threatened in the case of the adoption of this document withdraw billions of dollars from the U.S. economy.

But the White house may impose on the veto law. Earlier in the Obama administration explained that it could endanger Americans abroad, as against them, too, can be subject to legal exposure.
