The Bank of Russia intends to lay off another 2.4 thousand employees


First Deputy Chairman of Bank of Russia Georgy Luntovsky said that this year, the Central Bank of the Russian Federation intends to continue the reduction of staff for cost optimization. According to him, the dismissal will affect approximately 2.4 thousand employees, as it was in 2015.

“We have already started to implement a programme to improve this year”, — said Luntovsky, speaking before the deputies of the state Duma.

He said that currently the number of Bank accounts for 57 thousand people.
