According to Matvienko, entry visas to Russia can “sow discord” in the former Soviet Union “national factor”. The speaker stressed that to talk about it especially early, as the Investigative Committee has not provided definitive conclusions about the causes of the conflict.

However, I’m sure Matvienko, among them issues related to migration policy, and the basis is financial conflict.

Recall that a fight involving several hundred people occurred on Khovansky a cemetery may 14. It killed three and injured 30 people.

In conflict with two sides took part as immigrants from Central Asia — cemetery workers, and representatives of Russian regions of the North Caucasus, according to media reports, tried to get the first to pay them a percentage of earnings.

Read about the motives of the conflict in the cemetery.

After the dispersal of the adversaries, the UK reported the arrest of the Director of the cemetery Chabueva Yuri, who was a member of the public Council under the SK and before that was awarded to the head of the Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin.

It Chabueva SK and considers at the moment the organizer of the fighting, because, according to one version, he tried to force migrants from Central Asia to resume him illegal payments for the right to work in the cemetery.

Note that immediately after the incident and before the news of the motive of the mass brawl a number of politicians announced the need to tighten immigration laws. In particular, this was stated by first Deputy Chairman of the Duma Committee on nationalities Mikhail Starshinov, who offered to hold a special meeting in the Duma.

Took advantage of the situation and is known for his radical views on national policy former Deputy energy Minister Vladimir Milov, who wrote in Facebook that “Caucasians are not able to work and do not want, and aggressive, called “give Caucasian mafia schscham else.”
