- Japan in 2019 will launch a probe to the moon
Mitsubishi Electric Corp. developing the probe, scheduled to launch to the moon in 2019.
As reported by Japanese media, the last probe was received from space Agency JAXA. The cost of its development will amount to 18 billion yen, which corresponds to 163 million dollars.
It is noted that the accuracy of hitting the designated target on the surface of the moon will be only 100 meters, while the foreign probes, it is more than a kilometer.
