The Russian confectionary holding “Slavyanka” holds negotiations with the representatives of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko on the acquisition of Lipetsk factory Roshen. Currently, the company is ready to sell for $ 100 million, although the asset initially asked for $ 250 million.

The source of “Kommersant” in the confectionery industry said that the interest of “Slav” is associated with the geographical position of the factory, thus the Russian holding is not the only contender for the acquisition of the asset.
Currently, the “Slavyanka” is one of the largest Russian confectionery associations, which produces more than 450 items of products and owns brands such as “Squirrel”, “Bear in the North”, “Little miracle”. The holding includes four companies.
Poroshenko has acquired Lipetsk factory in 2001. Shortly before the inauguration of the President of Ukraine, he said he intends to auction off all assets belonging to him of the concern. However, he later transferred its interest in the so-called independent blind trust.
Now the Roshen, in addition to the Lipetsk factory, consists of seven enterprises in Ukraine and one in Lithuania.Related posts:
