Russia demanded the Interpol to arrest Khodorkovsky in the murder of mayor of Nefteyugansk


New documents about the involvement of ex-head of Yukos Mikhail Khodorkovsky in the murder of mayor of Nefteyugansk Vladimir Petukhov sent to Russian law enforcement agencies in Interpol. According to sources, it may be grounds to declare Khodorkovsky a wanted list and his arrest.

According to “Interfax”, which refers to a source familiar with the situation, law enforcement agencies of Russia sent a new package of documents in respect of Mikhail Khodorkovsky in Lyon. The source claims that the documents relate to the high profile case implicating the former head of Yukos the murder of Nefteyugansk mayor Vladimir Petukhov. Sending documents agreed with the General Secretariat of Interpol.

Until about the reaction of Interpol on this package of documents is not known. The source believes that the targeted documents could be sufficient for further consideration of the issue of the warrant for international search Khodorkovsky.

Informed the Secretariat-General of police organizations recommended not to make to the national base profile of Khodorkovsky. In the headquarters referred to article 3 of the organization’s Charter, which “flatly prohibits to take any actions of political, military, religious or racial character”.
