According to Aleksashenko, Kudrin “turned a blind eye to what is happening in the country.” The economist called his colleague “the Russian Hjalmar Schacht”, Recalling thus about well-known economist in the government of Hitler.

Recall that to a certain point — 1937 — Mine was the Reich Minister of Economics Nazi Germany, and also headed the Reichsbank. It was under his leadership the country’s economy was moved to a war footing, it also provided the absorption of the Austrian economic system after the German Anschluss of the country.

However, in 1936 Schacht was forced to cede some powers to Hermann Goering, who led the Four-year plan, and in the end remained a Minister without portfolio, though, and kept thus until 1939 the management of the Reichsbank.

Further Schacht warned Hitler about the disastrous course of his economic policies, did not support the war with the Soviet Union and in 1942 he resigned from the post of Minister, and established contacts with the conspirators against the führer, whose speech in 1944, however, failed.

Once in prison, Mines was released already in may 1945 by allied troops, however, immediately became a defendant at the Nuremberg trials, where, however, was eventually acquitted.

Read about the career opportunities Kudrin.

Recall that the career of Alexei Kudrin as Finance Minister, which began in 2000, was interrupted in 2011 after a disagreement with then-President Dmitry Medvedev about the growth of military and social spending.

After that Kudrin is gone soft in opposition to the regime, however, was always in contact with his moderate critics, and with the government and the President. Thus Kudrin has supported popular uprisings in December 2011, he became one of their members.
