The leader of al Qaeda decided to form a new front in Syria

The leader of the international terrorist network “al-Qaeda” Ayman al-Zawahiri decided to open a new front in Syria and to form there an alternative stronghold with the help of the group “Dzhebhat EN-Nusra” (banned in Russia).

“The intentions of the leaders of “al-Qaeda” reflect the growing importance of Syria for the organization and portend an escalation of its bloody rivalry with the terrorist group “Islamic state” (banned in Russia)”, – writes the newspaper the New York Times referring to sources in special services of the USA and Europe.

Special services note that in the case of the presence in Syria of “al-Qaeda” is on the “striking distance” from Europe and will be able to engage in more active recruitment of militants in Iraq, Turkey, Jordan and Lebanon. In order to finalize the springboard it sent to Syria more than a dozen emissaries from among the most trustworthy and trained fighters.
