Azerbaijan, Turkey and Georgia have agreed to hold joint exercises


The Azerbaijani defence Minister Zakir Hasanov announced joint military exercises of Azerbaijan, Turkey and Georgia.

According to him, the agreement was reached following the meeting of defense Ministers of the three gosudarstv in Gabala.

“To enhance combat capability and readiness… we considered it expedient to hold joint military exercises. The need was stressed for closer cooperation in the field of cybersecurity and the protection of oil and gas pipelines,” — said Hasanov.
