USA: in Venezuela, a possible “Palace coup”

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, according to U.S. intelligence, will be removed from power before the end of his six-year presidential term. It is noted that the cause may be sweeping the country’s economic crisis.

According to analysts, the most likely scenario may be a “Palace coup”. Following the departure of President in Venezuela can start a dangerous period of political instability, “which will have consequences for foreign holders of bonds, the markets for oil and Venezuela’s neighbors, particularly Colombia”.

Earlier it was reported that the opposition in Venezuela has collected the required number of signatures for a referendum on the resignation of Nicolas Maduro as President.
