- The US Senate has proposed to cut the purchase of Russian rocket engines
A Committee of the U.S. Senate armed services Committee proposed the purchase from Russia only 9 rocket engines RD-180.
According to the publication Defense News, the Committee approved its version of the bill funding the Pentagon for the 2017 financial year on Thursday.
Earlier, a similar bill was discussed in the defence Committee of the house of representatives, whose members supported the amendment, which guarantees the purchase of 18 U.S. RD-180.
