In the state Duma refused to free the elderly from the contributions for the repair

The State Duma Committee on housing policy recommended to reject the bill on the abolition of fees for major repairs for single pensioners older than 75 years. Information about this appeared on the website of the lower house of the Russian Parliament.

The main reason for rejection was the argument of the MPs that if the bill is passed, funds the overhaul of any “lost income” that the regions will not be able to compensate.

Recall that now the regions have the right (but not the obligation) to compensate pensioners over the age of 70 half of their payments for the repair, and over 80 years — 100% of the money.

Also in the Moscow city Duma adopted a law according to which this rule becomes compulsory for the capital. At the same time “United Russia” possessing the majority in MHD, announced that they had collected in support of the bill hundreds of thousands of signatures and made this decision.

Also at the end of last month, the mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin promised a fee for the repair of the disabled and victims of radiation injury.
