In Moscow rose sharply porridge

Buckwheat and cabbage became leaders on growth of prices in Moscow in April. In addition, unexpectedly rose such commodities as tea and butter.

As told “MK” in the “Mosgorstat”, in the capital’s shops, the price of buckwheat-unground unexpectedly rose by approximately 4.3%. Rose last month, and other cereals. So, oat cereal “Hercules” became more expensive by 1.8%, peas and beans – 1.6%.

Rose significantly over the month and such important products as tea and sunflower oil. So, the price of a pack of tea rose by 3.8%, the price of a bottle of sunflower oil – almost 3%. And another almost 2% became more expensive olive oil. Frozen intact fish has risen, according to statistics, by 2.7%, almost 2% more expensive herring. Among vegetables leader in growth rates was the cabbage – it costs increased by 20.8%. The potatoes went up by 5.5%. As explained in the Mosgorstat, there was a seasonal increase of the prices as the market received a fresh harvest this year. Meanwhile, after the vegetables prices rose and some fruit – grapes, lemons, and bananas grew by 3-5%. However, for fresh cucumber prices, on the contrary, started to fall behind a month 17.6%. And fresh tomatoes, pears and oranges fell by 2.6-7%.

Among non-food items the highest increase in the prices of statistics said on bikes both for adults and for children – 3.5%. That is quite logical – summer is Cycling season. Electric trimmers have risen by the summer of 3.2%, the goods for physical culture, sport and tourism – 2.5%.

Gasoline prices rose in Moscow on the average for the month by 0.7%, while natural gas became cheaper by 3.2%. 2.6% growth services pre-school education, 2.5% – lessons in groups of General physical training.
