Belarus refused from the debt for Russian gas of $125 million

Belarus is not going to return to “Gazprom” debt for natural gas, which amounted to more than $ 125 million. In Minsk believe that the Republic must pay $ 80 per thousand cubic meters of “blue fuel” instead of 142.

Minsk has no debts before the Russian holding for delivered to the Republic of natural gas, said on Thursday reporters the head of the Ministry of energy of Belarus Vladimir Potupchik, reports “Interfax”.

“There is no debt. Belarus pays in accordance with the agreements. Here in court and we will deal with this issue”, — said the Minister.

In his opinion, the Republic should pay $ 80 per thousand cubic meters instead of the current 142-H. Potupchik noted that countries have different interpretations of the intergovernmental agreement, from-for what there is misunderstanding.

In early April, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich said that Minsk and Moscow have not yet agreed on a discount on Russian fuel. “Gazprom” has considered a price reduction for Belarus irrational.
