The European Parliament has suspended work on the abolition of visas with Turkey


European Parliament President Martin Schulz said that visas with Turkey will not be lifted until all 72 requirements. This was reported by the MEP from the Netherlands Judith Sippel.

Her words confirmed a spokesman for Schulz, Armin Machmer, who said that the European Parliament will begin work on visa-free travel for Turkey “until the full implementation of Ankara all the requirements”.
