German MPs demanded the abolition of anti-Russian sanctions

A resolution to abolish the anti-Russian sanctions was prepared by the representatives of the party “Alternative for Germany”.

The relevant document will be sent to the government of the Federal state of Baden-württemberg, in whose territory are registered more than 900 companies with offices in Russia, may 11. After consideration of the land government, the document will be submitted to the Landtag (provincial Parliament).

“The anti-Russian sanctions should be lifted, they turned against us and have negative consequences for the economy. Russia is one of the key partners of Baden-württemberg, trade relations should not be reduced”, — reports “Izvestia” the words of the author of the resolution, the Deputy of the local Parliament Udo Stein.

Restrictive measures against Russia had a negative impact on the indicators of the state of Baden-württemberg, said Stein. Here are the headquarters of Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, Bosch, Daimler and SAP, the largest IT company in Germany. In connection with the foreign policy of Berlin under the threat of dismissal were 42 thousand jobs.

The head office of the party Marcus Frohnmayer said that the same resolution will be sent to other Federal parliaments, where the party is represented in Bremen, Brandenburg, Baden-württemberg, Hamburg, Rhineland-Palatinate, Thuringia, Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt.

“We can’t directly affect the Federal government’s decision, in the end, foreign policy is decided in Berlin, not Stuttgart. But such an initiative we want to give a signal to the Federal government about the need for the lifting of sanctions and return to normal relations with Russia”, — said Premier.

Previously for the lifting of sanctions against Russia were also made by the leader of the French far-right party “national front” marine Le Pen. The Minister of foreign Affairs and international cooperation of Italy Paolo Gentiloni also believes that it is necessary to remove the anti-Russian restrictions.
