In Armenia has denied reports about the creation of the atomic bomb


Vice-speaker of the Armenian Parliament Eduard Sharmazanov commented on the statement by the representative of the head of the EU diplomacy Federica Mogherini on the need to check the information about the possibility of the establishment of the Armenian atomic bomb. Previously, this personal opinion was expressed by former Prime Minister of Armenia Hrant Bagratyan, reports “Interfax”.

Sharmazanov stressed that Armenia is using nuclear energy only for peaceful purposes, for electricity generation and intends to develop nuclear weapons. He recommended that those who are looking for danger in the region, to turn their eyes on Turkey, Azerbaijan and then on IG (banned in Russia).
