Poroshenko urged the EU to strengthen sanctions against Russia

The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko urged European countries to toughen sanctions against Russia.

“From time to time in some European countries there are voices about the alleged ineffectiveness of sanctions. What if someone they seem ineffective, it is necessary not to remove them or to mitigate, but rather to continue and to strengthen!” – said Poroshenko.

According to him, Ukrainian diplomats are making every effort to continue the sanctions against Russia imposed by the EU, USA and other countries.
