Kiev “Immortal regiment” filled with gas for the St. George ribbon and Stalin

The procession of participants of the action “Immortal regiment” in Kiev was not without incident. During the campaign there was a fight between a man and a woman with a St. George’s ribbon. Also one of the participants brought to the event icon of Stalin. The column was trying not to let the Park of Eternal Glory, and the unknown scattered among the marchers with tear gas.

In Kiev at the metro station “Arsenalnaya”, where participants of the action “Immortal regiment” was a fight because of St. George ribbons. According to “112 Ukraine”, one of the participants was wearing a St. George ribbon, which has caused indignation of young men. He demanded from women to remove any symbols, but the woman refused. The young man tried to do it by force, and between them there was a fight. After some time the police brought a guy from the crowd to avoid further conflict.

After that, the protesters went to the tomb of the Unknown soldier in Park of Eternal Glory. But the Park entrance was blocked. Some time later, participants still allowed in the Park, but some radicals are sprayed into the column with tear gas, reports TASS.

These people were dressed in camouflage uniforms. They also require participants to share not to get the ribbons, in order to avoid provocations.

Discussed in the Ukrainian media video and from the place of gathering of participants at the metro station “Arsenalnaya”, which placed the Ukrainian edition of “Browser”. The video was captured as the audience is a woman in uniform. First, she said that “we will not kneel before Europe” and showed the posters. And then pulled out a poster with an icon of Joseph Stalin, saying: “Glory to the great Stalin! Today the Orthodox canonized him! He left a great power, and today the junta is this what she’s doing with Ukraine? The veterans to live on!”
