The victory on elections in local authorities in the UK was won by the labour party. This is evidenced by the final results of the vote.
The labour party took control of 58 of 124 municipal, local and regional councils, in which the vote was taken.
The vote took place on 5 may. In September 2015 the party was headed by Jeremy Corbyn, known for his radical leftist views.
